‘PLL’ Recap: Which Girl Had it the Hardest on Last Night’s Ep?
We’re just gonna put this out there — last night’s episode of Pretty Little Liars was everything! Unlike last week’s show, where Hanna was arrested thus making it hardest on her, the “Under the Gun” show left all four girls in hot water. See the biggest events from the evening, then tell us which of the Little Liars had it worst.
1. What happens with Emily? First thing’s first, her arch nemesis, Shana, somehow manages to transfer to Rosewood High mid-senior year and snatch up Emily’s vacated spot on the swim team (remember, because of the busted shoulder). Oh, and for some reason, Shana playing the violin’s a big deal. Guess we’ll have to wait on that front. Anyway, later on, Emily places the footage of Hanna’s mom hitting Wilden with her car, with Shana and Jenna dragging him away soon after, on the policewoman’s desk. But ‘A’ manages to grab the video before the police, and swaps it for footage of an Emily-masked person holding a sign saying ‘Guilty.’
2. What happens with Aria? One of her brother’s teammates needs help with his English paper. Supposedly. So Aria offers to help him out. Before the kid leaves her house after their tutoring sesh, he kisses her. She was clearly not having it, so she pushes him away. But the next day, the rumor mill suggests that she and the kid hooked up. When she approaches him on the subject, he calls her a slut because everyone knows she had a relationship with Ezra. Obviously she can’t dispute it, so she just holes herself up in her room. At least Mike pulls the ultimate good brother move — and bashes the aforementioned teammate’s car in. Bravo, Mike. Bravo.
3. What happens with Spencer? It’s our first real introduction to Ravenswood. And it is one creepy place. While Spencer and Toby plan to investigate the former head of the sorority house we were introduced to last week, they run into some creepy characters, including a mom who acts as if she can’t hear them, a man peeking through his shades and a suspicious gardener. When Spencer finds the subject she’s been looking for, the woman claims she’s not familiar with Alison. Then again, Spencer spots Shana in the same town, so she believes that Shana just got to the woman first. Yeah, we could believe that. And, considering there’s an entire spin-off in the works, we know that’s not the last we’ll see of the little town.
4. What happens with Hanna? Evidence proves that Hanna’s dad’s gun was used to kill Officer Wilden, and that Ashley’s fingerprints were on the gun, so she’s taken into custody. Hanna’s positive that ‘A’ has something to do with it, but she receives a text from ‘A’ claiming if Hanna mentions anything about him/her, he/she will take it out on Hanna’s father as well.
