‘PLL’ Recap: Which Girl Had it the Hardest on Last Night’s Ep?
So many questions. Just… so many freaking questions, it’s getting out of control. During the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars, titled “Face Time,” we learn a little bit more about Hanna’s mom’s involvement in Wilden’s murder. But other than that, a majority’s still left up in the air. Take a look at what went down with each of the girls, then choose which of the Little Liars had it hardest.
1. What happens with Aria? As we suspected, Aria comes clean about her relationship with Ezra to Jake. But at least she’s trying to move on. After telling Jake the Ezria backstory, she kisses him — but he pulls away, knowing that Aria’s not over her ex. So we’ll have to wait and see what happens on the Jaria(? Yeah, let’s go with that) front.
2. What happens with Hanna? Hanna’s dad’s gun went missing the night her mother went to see him. That’s a known fact now. When Caleb informs Hanna of the latest information, she refuses to believe that her mom killed Officer Wilden. But with all of the evidence piling up, including the confession that Hanna’s mom was actually in Rosewood the night of the killing, as well as a gun with the serial number filed off in Wilden’s safety deposit box — which only Wilden and Ashley had access to — it’s not looking so good for Mama Marin.
3. What happens with Emily? Family services is looking into Emily and her parents now for the non-prescribed use of her mother’s pain pills. And that busted shoulder of hers — which she got while saving Mona from getting hit by a car — isn’t helping her case. As of right now, she’s still under her family’s supervision. However, there’s serious discussion over how things will change in the household. Especially with her dad at home, and most likely being ineligible for swimming scholarships.
4. What’s happens with Spencer? Spencer finally confronts Melissa over the masks and being on the Halloween train. According to the elder Hastings, she’s been trying to ‘protect’ Spencer the entire time. From what, we don’t know, but she insists that Spencer let the death of Wilden go. Okay, she may not have killed that officer, but what about Garrett? Hmm…
Side note to Spencer’s story, Toby visits his mother’s former doctor, Dr. Palmer. He too doesn’t believe that Mrs. Cavanaugh committed suicide at Radley — but he can’t offer any explanation for her death. Just that there were forces that were too much for her. Including “that blonde girl.”
