The Must-See First Acting Jobs of the Pretty Little Liars Cast

By  |

MAJOR Throwback Thursday goodies over here! Sure, the cast members from The Maze Runner were cute back when they first started out, but they were nowhere near as fresh-faced as the cast of Pretty Little Liars. Here are the MUST-SEE first acting jobs from ten of your PLL faves:

Lucy Hale — Just a couple years after her win on American Juniors, Luce found herself on Nickelodeon via an episode of Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide with none other than Lindsey Shaw (a.k.a. Paige!).

Ashley Benson — She did a few TV stints in 2002, but it wasn’t until 2004 that Ashley found herself on the big screen — in one of our favorite movies, too! Fast forward to the :35 mark to hear her line in 13 Going on 30:

Troian Bellisario — Prior to her third birthday, Troian filmed her first movie, Last Rites. Just look at the little nugget… at a funeral.

Shay Mitchell — She didn’t start out early like her PLL besties, but she came out on a high note, playing a model opposite Nina Dobrev on an episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation in 2009.

Janel Parrish — In 1999, Janel was just shy of 11 years old when she starred on not one, but TWO episodes of Batwatch. Honestly, cannot deal with the cuteness.

Sasha Pieterse — Around the :05 mark, you can see a 6-year-old Sasha get excited over Christmas on Family Affair. Aww!

Tammin Sursok — Did you know that Tammin’s a South African-born Australian? Chances are you didn’t considering she rarely sports her natural accent. But you’ll get to hear it in the following footage from Australian soap opera Home and Away:

Ian Harding — ZOMG! One year before PLL hit the small screen, Ian played a wealthy prepster in Adventureland, starring Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg. And, umm… whoa.

Tyler BlackburnEmma Roberts‘ Nick show marked the first-ever acting gig for the guy who brought Caleb Rivers to life. Two episodes, actually.

Keegan Allen — There are no words to describe the spiky-haired child at the 2:20 mark in this 2002 short, Small Emergencies:
