We get that we’re Teen.com, we really do, but we just can’t help but gush about all the things that happened in 1994 a.k.a. 20 years ago. 20’s only one higher than 19, and 19 is still a teen, so it’s not so bad. Heck, some of the biggest young stars were born 20 years ago, like Justin Bieber, Ansel Elgort, Nat Wolff, Dakota Fanning, Zoey Deutch… Yeah, there are a lot.

So, as we did for the most popular tracks of 1989, here are ten timeless songs you won’t believe are 20 years old. (NOTE: Some are from 1993, but all were topping the charts throughout ’94.)

1. “The Sign” by Ace of Base — Anyone else remember when Stephanie Tanner and her friends, Gia and… whatever the other girls names are, messed up the tune on Full House? Still cringe over it.

2. “Hero” by Mariah Carey — During Mariah’s PRIME.

3. “I Swear” by All-4-One — Hold up, fat-suited-Ryan Reynolds-in-Just Friends flashback.

4. “I’ll Make Love to You” by Boyz II Men — There’s not a person in this world who doesn’t know this song.

5. “Gin and Juice” by Snoop Dogg — Snoop Lion wasn’t even a glimmer.

6. “Whoomp! (There It Is)” by Tag Team — It’s a sports anthem!

7. “All I Wanna Do” by Sheryl Crow…is have some fun. I gotta feelin’, I’m not the only one. Don’t mind us, we’re just jammin’.

8. “Bump N’ Grind” by R. Kelly — Classic R. Kelly.

9. “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” by Elton John — Eff yeah, The Lion King!

10. “All That She Wants” by Ace of Base — Yes, it was absolutely necessary to include Ace of Base twice.
