25 Fashion Brands That Were Popular in the ’90s and Early 2000s
As most fashion trends tend to come and go, so do many fashion brands. There are designer classics that will always be around, like Chanel and Prada. Then there are less expensive brands that have been popular for a while now, and will probably be around for a while longer — like Victoria’s Secret, Express and American Eagle. And then there are the brands that were super popular when we were younger, and although they may still be around, they just don’t shine like they used to.
For example: I can’t even remember the last time I walked into an Abercrombie & Fitch and seriously considered buying a pair of $130 jeans and $85 tank top. But when I was in high school and college, all I did was spend my hard-earned money on Abercrombie branded items. A&F is definitely still around (although they’re not doing so hot right now), but the brand is nowhere near as popular as it once was.
Let’s reflect back on some other brands that enjoyed a lot of popularity back in the day. I love style memories, even cringe-worthy ones! Here are 25 fashion brands that were popular in the ’90s and early 2000s.
