Playlist of the Week: The 5 Songs We Can’t Stop Listening To!

By  |

Summer is the time for tons of new music, and since today is July 4th (woohoo!) we figured now is just as good a time as any to tell you what we’ve been listening to non-stop all week (um, or month?!) long. These are the perfect songs to play today at your July 4th BBQ, on your iPod at the beach, or, ya know, if you’re just chillin’ at home surfing the web, which is probably what we’re going to wind up doing…

Click on for our top 5 picks!

1. Worldwide – Big Time Rush
We absolutely love this song because it’s just freakin’ awesome and it totally gives us memories of that cute boy we’ve been crushing on. Guess we secretly hope he’s thinking of us when he’s hearing it. And what’s our fave line? “Yes, I may meet a million pretty girls that know my name but don’t you worry cause you have my heart.” So sweet!

2. Give Me Everything – Pitbull ft. Ne-yo, Afrojack and Nayer
This song is just so catchy. We love the beat, the lyrics, everything! The song is telling you to do what you need to do because you might not get tomorrow and that is like, the best motto ever.

3. Who Says – Selena Gomez
We just had to have this one our playlist, cause honestly, we just totally dig Sel. Plus, we totally love the message she’s sending here: Don’t listen to the mean things people have to say about you. And besides, Monte Carlo comes out today and this track might as well be the movie’s theme song…

4. Party Rock Anthem – LMFAO
This song makes us want to get up and dance. Summer is party time so this song is definitely a perfect fit. Did we mention it’s super catchy? We’re addicted!

5. Born This Way – Lady Gaga
We know this isn’t her latest, but we can’t help but love Gaga’s “Born This Way.” We love that she’s spreading that idea that we were born the way we are and we can’t change it for anything. But, why would we even want to change who we are? Another super awesome song with an amazing message.

So, do you love these songs, too? Are they on your playlist right now? What else is on your playlist that we missed? Sound off in the comments!
