Little Mix Forced to Perform as a Trio as Perrie Edwards Rushed to Hospital
This is NOT the way to celebrate a new song.
Last week, the four ladies of Little Mix dropped a new single, “Reggaeton Lento,” and it’s all Mixers have been jamming out to for the past seven days. Like, it’s basically “Despacito” 2.0. Unfortunately, all the members of the girl group were unable to ring in the fresh tune this week.
Just before the quartet was scheduled to perform at the Daytime Village 2017 Capital One event in Las Vegas, Perrie Edwards was rushed to the hospital, forcing Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall & Leigh-Anne Pinnock to take the stage as a trio.
According to Mail Online, the 24-year-old blonde reportedly suffered from issues in her stomach. “Perrie was taken ill overnight and had to go to hospital with gastric problem,” said the band’s rep. “She saw a doctor and was sadly unable to perform.”
Thankfully, the singer is already out of the hospital, and on the mend. She said so herself!

Of course, Little Mix isn’t the first band forced to perform without a member due to illness:
The Fifth Harmony girls' close bond and unique ~harmonies~ make their live performances so epic. So when Camila Cabello got sick while they were on tour with Austin Mahone, the rest of the group freaked the eff out.
"PHILLY MEET N GREET. im currently in the hospital cause we wanna make sure it's nothing serious and i feel terrible :( please forgive me," she wrote on Twitter. Unfortunately, Cam wasn't able to make the show and Ally, Dinah, Lauren and Normani had to perform without the brunette. Luckily, the 19 year old was discharged that evening, thanked all of the fans for sending her love and support, and was ready to rock at the next 5H show.
