If What Perrie Edwards Just Said is True, Then Zayn Malik is a Big Fat LIAR

By  |

Perrie Edwards is spilling all.the.tea. Like, tea is getting literally everywhere. Days after going IN on her (awful) sex life with ex-fiance Zayn Malik, via Little Mix‘s new track, “Shout Out to My Ex,” excerpts from the girl group’s upcoming book, Our World, hit the Internet, and there are now even MORE juicy tidbits about Zerrie. And, if what Perrie said about the end of her relationship with the former One Direction hottie is true, then Zayn is a big fat LIAR.

In a recently-released portion of the novel, the 23-year-old blonde says, “I’m single at the moment and in a really good place.” [NOTE: This is, obviously, before she started seeing Luke Pasqualino.] “I feel like I’m stronger and happier than I’ve been in a long time. I’ve bought a house and it’s like I’ve found my independence after going through a really rough time. It was horrible, the worst time of my life. A 4-year relationship, 2-year engagement ended by a simple text message. Just like that. Even though things my career were going really well, it was incredibly difficult for me.”

Wait a hot second — so the text message breakup rumors were true?! ’cause, according to the 23-year-old “PILLOWTALK” singer, they were completely false. “If you could word it exactly this way, I’d be very appreciative,” he told Fader magazine. “I have more respect for Perrie than to end anything over text message. I love her a lot, and I always will, and I would never end our relationship over 4 years like that. She knows that, I know that, and the public should know that as well. I don’t want to explain why or what I did. I just want the public to know I didn’t do that.”

So, which one of ’em is telling the truth? If Perrie could pull a Kim Kardashian and show the receipts, then that would really solve everything. Just sayin’.

Of course, Perrie Edwards isn’t the only celebrity who was broken up with over the phone:
