Penis Facials are Hollywood’s Latest Beauty Trend and We’re Confused AF

LBR, celebs in Hollywood are always looking for ways to keep their skin fresh and glowy while also trying to defy the aging process. Luckily, to achieve their fabulously radiant skin, there’s a new beauty regimen that some v popular celebrities swear by: PENIS FACIALS.

Yes, ladies and gents… you heard that correctly. Esthetician Georgia Louise is getting a ton of buzz surrounding her Hollywood EGF Facial (you didn’t really think it was called the “Penis Facial,” did you?). Most recently, Oceans 8 star Cate Blanchett gushed over the $650 treatment, saying that she and her good friend, Sandra Bullock, both had it done last year while they were in New York City.

Cate told Vogue Australia, “[We] saw this facialist in New York, Georgia Louise, and she gives what we call the penis facial. It’s something — I don’t know what it is, or whether it’s just cause it smells a bit like sperm — there’s some enzyme in it so Sandy refers to it as the penis facial.” HUH?!

Just like you, we thought Cate must’ve been totally confused and not at all in-the-know about the new beauty treatment, but, as it turns out, the penis facial is real and it’s here to stay, people! Before you totally freak TF out over what’s actually used in this new beauty regimen, though, let’s be clear: It’s NOT semen. However, once you find out the real contents of the facial, you may be equally as disturbed and/or bewildered.

According to Georgia Louise’s website, the Hollywood EGF Facial “is derived from the progenitor cells of the human fibroblast taken from Korean newborn baby foreskin — which helps to generate collagen and elastin.”

As much as we want to be like “WTF” over this strange beauty treatment, we have to admit that both Cate and Sandra have absolutely gorgeous and glowy skin, so maybe it’s one of those things that you just can’t knock until you try? Unfortunately, though, if you were considering dropping over $600 on a facial, you’re going to have to opt for a different one because, according to Cosmopolitan, Georgia only gives the penis facial to “A-list” clients. We know… what a bummer!
