6 Parents Who Yelled at Fans After Their Famous Kid Was Bullied
Social media definitely has its benefits, but it also opens the door to even more online bullying. Perhaps people feel as though its easier and acceptable to verbally attack someone online, but this is so NOT the case. Moreover, it’s an issue that regular people and celebrities face on a daily basis.
In the case of your favorite stars, they’re either praised or criticized on the Internet — there is no in between. We understand that not everyone loves a certain star, but is the online attacking really necessary? Celebrities like Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato have no problem calling out online trolls, and will even step in to defend their siblings. However, the parents of these famous faces also tend to come to their child’s defense. Last year, Internet haters attacked Kendall Jenner, saying that she didn't work as hard as other models in order to become such a huge name in the industry. And even though Kendall is already part of a famous family, that doesn't mean that she didn't put in the necessary work in order to succeed.
Taking to Instagram, Kris published a lengthy post, defending Kendall's "joy and exhilaration and excitement and professionalism and intensity and focus." However, Kris didn't stop there. She also added, "She is beyond grateful, feels so blessed and, believe me, so grateful this is her career."
That's not the only time Kris defended one of her daughters. While pregnant with her first child, Kim Kardashian posted a photo on Instagram, showing off the meds that helped her cope with morning sickness. After getting bullied by Instagram users, Kris stepped in with a photo of her own. She captioned the pic, "#SPONSORED Glad @KimKardashian is feeling better, wish I had something like this product during all my pregnancies! #repost."
