Here’s Why People Think a One Direction Tour Could Be on the Horizon

By  |

Today marks eight years since Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne were brought together on The X Factor to form one of the most ICONIC bands of all time, One Direction. In addition to getting emotional over the guys’ posts in celebration of the momentous occasion, we’re also on the verge of losing our actual ish because — deep breaths, guys — an upcoming 1D concert date was briefly posted online.

Although the listing has since been deleted from Ticketmaster and Spotify, fans still captured proof that there was an alleged show scheduled for December 31, 2020 at Etihad Stadium in Australia. The date reportedly appeared on both Ticketmaster and the band’s official Spotify account before it was removed.

The listing could be a mistake or glitch in the system, especially since it was for the On the Road Again Tour, which was the last tour 1D went on in 2015 before going on a hiatus. But even though it’s might not be real, fans aren’t ready to completely give up hope. In fact, they are already preparing themselves for a One Direction reunion to happen in two years AND saving money to go to Australia (lol).

Several months ago, Liam revealed that a One Direction reunion tour “will happen at some point in the distant future.”

“We’ve all spoken about it and, you know, the dream for this most fantastic show that could be, is amazing,” he explained. “With everybody being so successful, this in part now [sic] is so important for us to be able to make that show.”

Could it be??????? Honestly, we’d do almost ANYTHING for another One Direction tour.
