It seems like we’re always wishing a hearty congratulations to One Direction. And that’s not about to change today; the guys’ sophomore album, Take Me Home, just hit #1 on Billboard‘s Top 200 Albums chart with over 540,000 copies sold in the last week. This is huge considering that their freshman album, Up All Night, also debuted at #1 at the beginning of this year, making 1D the first British band to take the top spot twice in the States with its first two CDs.

And that’s not even half the reason Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne have to celebrate today as each of them had the honor of not only meeting the Queen of England, but also singing for her. Watch as they shake hands with the English monarch, plus view a clip of their “Little Things” performance! After that, make sure to send your own congratulations to 1D in the comments or on our One Direction message board!
