Liam Payne Fires Back at Documentary Claiming One Direction Fans Are “Crazy”
One Direction fans are "crazy" — that's the statement made in a recent documentary on Channel 4 which focuses on the 1D fandom. And Directioners are so not having it.
After the show, which depicted fans doing everything from having fantasies about hidden relationships with the British-Irish band members to sending death threats to the guys' girlfriends, Directioners began tweeting #ThisIsNotUs (in reference to the upcoming One Direction: This Is Us film) because of the negative light placed on them or, even more harshly, #ScrewYouChannel4.
And Directioners aren't the only ones who aren't willing to take the documentary seriously. One Direction's Liam Payne made his own statement about the show: "Just so all of you know we love you guys and we know how dedicated you are and tbh we can't believe it that you guys spend all your time on us. We couldn't give a f*** what any documentary says. They're dramatized for entertainment and full of bull**** anyway we all know how hard you work for us and see it everyday at our shows, Let's all take a step back and think about what we/you have all achieved."
Liam capped it all off, saying:
You should be proud
