Nose Art is All Over Social Media & It’s Equal Parts Creative and Beautiful
We can pretty much all agree that, lately, we’ve been focusing most of our attention on eyebrow trends. In the interim, though, it seems like we’ve been sleeping on an even wackier beauty trend that’s hit the web over the last several months: nose art.
You heard that correctly, ladies and gents! Nose art has been all over Instagram lately, and like the crazy brow trend, it allows for makeup lovers to use their imagination to draw whatever they want right smack in the center of their face. Sure, these aren’t every day, going out looks, but even we have to admit that they’re super fun!

Last week, Allure spoke with makeup artist Ashley Summer, who experiments with nose art frequently and shares the results on social media. She told the mag, “Even though it’s the center of the face, it gets neglected a lot when it comes to makeup. Anyone with any nose size or shape can pull it off.” Although we never quite thought about it that way, she’s right! We’re definitely not using our noses to their full potential when it comes to makeup.
As you probably could’ve guessed, Ashley isn’t the only makeup artist on the Internet who’s felt the same way and who’s begun to experiment with this interesting trend. Tons of other beauty gurus have posted photos on Instagram, showing off unique designs that range from lightning bolts to stars, and flowers to food. See?

Isn’t nose art amazing?! Although chances are slim that we’d ever try this look out on ourselves, we can’t deny that these makeup gurus are seriously talented, and that what they’ve created are nothing short of masterpieces. Good job, ya’ll!
