Normani Has Nothing But Nice Things to Say About Camila Cabello’s Solo Career

When Camila Cabello announced her departure from Fifth Harmony back in December 2016, the circumstances were less than ideal. While the “Never Be the Same” singer had nothing but nice things to say about Ally, Lauren, Normani and Dinah at the time, they fired back and basically said she quit without even speaking to them in person. From that point on, the disses kept on flying back and forth and fans began to lose hope that the fivesome would ever get back to the relationship they once had.

Lauren Jauregui, however, showed Harmonizers that there is, in fact, a possibility for the drama to be forgotten by allegedly making up with Cam while backstage at Jingle Ball at the end of 2017. And now it’s looking like the bad blood between the girls is starting to cool off a bit, as Normani, who recently signed a record deal of her own, has nothing but good things to say about her former bandmate’s solo career.

The “Love Lies” crooner told Us Weekly at the Daily Front Row Fashion Awards over the weekend, “She’s killing it. She’s freaking killing it. I’m super proud of her. She is in her own space and she’s happy.”

Taylor Swift‘s tour opener hasn’t reached out since the girls announced their hiatus, but previously said she wishes them “the best.”

“I don’t have room or desire to have any bad feelings with people,” CC said on The Dan Wootton Interview. “The reason I don’t like talking about it is because I don’t want to fight. I genuinely wish them the best and I just have love for them and the whole journey we went through.”

Everyone is on their own path and bringing along drama is just so unnecessary.
