7 Nickelodeon Actresses You Didn’t Know Appeared on Other Nick Shows First
Yes, we know many of Nick’s biggest stars also starred on All That, and who could forget how Miranda Cosgrove started her television career on iCarly? But for the purposes of this post, we’re focusing on the Nickelodeon stars who simply APPEARED on other Nick shows before landing their major gigs.
1. Jennette McCurdy
Everyone knows that Jennette’s role as Sam Puckett began on iCarly and then progressed to the short-lived Sam & Cat, but they might not be familiar with the fact that she actually began her Nick career on Zoey 101! Yep — the 22-year-old actress played Dustin’s girlfriend Trisha Kirby on an ep of the show back in 2005
2. Halston Sage
You may recognize Halston Sage from her role alongside Zac Efron in Neighbors, but we’ll bet you didn’t know she once played the first girl Robbie ever asked out on Victorious! HS’ role as Sadie came just about a year before she landed her gig as Grace King on Nick’s How to Rock
3. Daniella Monet
While Halston got her Nickelodeon start on Victorious, Daniella found her home there. The now-26-year-old actress played Trina Vega for 56 episodes of the Victoria Justice-led show FOUR YEARS after she first appeared on Zoey 101. Daniella played Rebecca Martin, Chase’s season three girlfriend who HATED Zoey.
4. Ashley Argota
Just four months before we met True Jackson, VP’s Lulu Johnson, Ashley Argota was on ANOTHER Nickelodeon fave — iCarly. Ash later went on to land a second starring role on Nick’s Bucket and Skinner’s Epic Adventures, which ended in 2013.
5. Tiffany Espensen
And speaking of TJ’s LuLu, Tiffany Espensen played the younger version of the character on one ep of the show back in ’09. Two years later, Tiffany found herself back on Nickelodeon (and reunited with Ashley Argota) on Bucket and Skinner’s Epic Adventures.
6. Cymphonique Miller
It took Master P’s daughter a few tries before she found the Nickelodeon show that really fit her personality. First, she played Ryan’s rival magician on True Jackson, VP. Then, less than a year later, she was on an episode of Big Time Rush as Kat’s Crew’s leading lady. Finally, in 2012, she landed the starring role as Kacey Simon on How to Rock.
7. Samantha Boscarino
While Samantha Boscarino appeared on both True Jackson, VP and Bucket and Skinner’s Epic Adventures before starring on How to Rock there is seemingly NO PROOF OF IT ON THE INTERNET! What gives, you guys?!
