If you follow Bryan Singer — the director of X-Men: Days of Future Past — on Twitter, you’ll know he loves to give out sneak peeks, and this time around he’s giving us our first look at Nicholas Hoult!

The director shared this photo on Twitter, which also features Hugh Jackman, aka Wolverine, with both rocking a very retro look. The photo’s caption read, “Welcome to 1973. @RealHughJackman @NicholasHoult #XMen #DaysOfFuturePast.”

As you might remember, Hugh had a very memorable cameo in the 2011 X-Men prequel, X-Men: First Class, when Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) were recruiting members for their mutant mission. Looks like he might have a bigger part this time around!

X-Men: Days of Future Past has been shooting in Montreal since last month. Also, Jennifer Lawrence is ready to reprise her role of Mystique, as she was spotted heading to the airport over the weekend. The film, hitting theaters on July 18, 2014, also stars Halle Berry, Ellen Page, and many more!

What do you think of this sneak peek? Will YOU be seeing X-Men: Days of Future Past when it’s released? Sound off in the comments!
