Happy ‘New Year’s Eve’ for Lea Michele and Zac Efron

By  |

It’s only November, but Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, and Zac Efron already have plans for New Year’s Eve. Kind of. The three Young Hollywood faves, plus big names like Reese Witherspoon, Ashton Kutcher, and Hilary Swank, are all in talks to star in the follow-up to last year’s ensemble rom-com Valentine’s Day. The name? New Year’s Eve, of course.

Here’s the deets.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie “tells intertwining stories of a group of New Yorkers as they navigate their way through romance over the course of New Year’s Eve.” The film is set to begin shooting mid-December, so it won’t hit theaters until next year’s holiday season. Which is O.K. with us, because we need to fully prepare ourselves for the adorableness of a potential Zac Efron-Lea Michele romance.
