There’s One Person Who Wasn’t Shocked AF by Mark Salling’s Child Porn Arrest

By  |

Ever since last year, it’s been clear that Mark Salling is even more of a delinquent than his Glee character, Noah “Puck” Puckerman. In early 2015, a woman named Roxanne Gorzela sued the actor for sexual battery, claiming that he threw her to the ground, severely injuring her knees, after she confronted him about potentially contracting an STD from their forced unprotected sex. He reportedly settled and granted her $2.7 million, so that was the end of that. By year’s end, things got far worse, as he was arrested… for possession of child pornography! Like, we knew he was a bad apple, but that bad? F*cking disgusting. Needless to say, we were shocked AF.

But, there’s actually at least one person who wasn’t “totally shocked” by the creepy news: his ex-girlfriend and former co-star, Naya Rivera. In the 29-year-old Glee actress’ recently-released memoir, Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing, she said, “I can’t say I was totally shocked” by the incident involving her 34-year-old old flame. “But still — WTF? My son’s nanny actually told me about it when the story broke. Then I had no doubt that God really did have my back along the way.”

“When Mark dumped me, I thought it was the worst thing ever,” she continued. “But can you imagine if that didn’t happen? And I was laying there in bed when the battering ram came through the door? I think everyone should have that one relationship where you look back and ask yourself, ‘What the hell was I thinking?’ You’ll learn something and you won’t regret it. Unless, of course, that relationship was with someone who had a sizable stash of child porn on his computer. Then, by all means, regret everything.”

Yesterday, other excerpts from Naya’s book revealed that Mark told her he loved her for the first time 4 weeks into their relationship… while he was on Ecstasy. Basically, any satisfactory reputation he may’ve had has gone seriously down the drain. There’s no turning back now, whether or not he’s found guilty.
