By  |

Whether or not you had the chance to watch the 2014 MTV Movie Awards live, these are the moments you’ve gotta know about. Sure, the winners themselves are great and all — see ’em all here — but there are ten specific times that are worth mentioning at least once more. Here they are, expressed in GIFs:

1. The first-ever clip from The Fault in Our Stars premiered! Just minutes before the actual event aired, Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort introduced a special scene from what’s soon to be our favorite tearjerker. Watch the magic unfold here.

2. 50 cameos. One opening segment. Conan O’Brien beat the record for number of celebrity features in one MTV Movie Awards introduction. Taylor Swift, Ashton Kutcher, Emma Watson, James Franco, Katy Perry — there were a lawt. Let’s see someone top that.

3. Jared Leto’s moving words after winning Best On-Screen Transformation for Dallas Buyers Club. “Love how you wanna love; live how you wish to live. Never let anyone stop you from turning your dreams into reality.”

4. Zac Efron’s acceptance speech. THIS:

5. In other Zac news, he also kissed a stranger. Whomever had a golden ticket underneath her seat with the heartthrob’s name on it is the luckiest girl in the world. If we were her, we’d never wash out mouth ever again.

6. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 exclusive. Plus how Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx introduced it with the password, “Harry Styles Makes Me Smiles.” SO Teen.com.

7. Aaand the clip from X-Men: Days of Future Past. How bad-ass did Ellen Page (as Kitty Pryde) look??

8. The tribute to Paul Walker. Well said, Jordana Brewster.

9. Ellie Goulding and Zedd’s performance. We know Eminem x Rihanna and Twenty One Pilots gave strong performances, but we got to relive our Divergent feels via “Beating Heart.” There’s no comparison.

10. Catching Fire claimed the big win! Though the cast didn’t snag the popcorn for Best Fight — RIGGED! — Sam Claflin and Best Male Performance winner Josh Hutcherson took the stage to accept the honor of Movie of the Year. And we <3 the fact that J.Hutch gave a shout-out to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. “We think about him every day on set.”
