New ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Trailer Debuts

The Dark Knight Rises Mask

The new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises has debuted and it gives us a whole new look at the film and the foreboding tone that director Christopher Nolan is going for in the final film of his trilogy.  We get to see a lot more of Bane and Catwoman in action as well as more of Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s “John Blake”.  Still not one-hundred percent how significant a role he will be playing in the film, but it’s clear that he is definitely a cop that is pro-Batman.  We also get a good look at the new Batwing in action.

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Trailer Gets LEGO’d

The Dark Knight Rises Mask

LEGO, and assumed Batman fan, ParanickFilmz has managed to recreate the entire The Dark Knight Rises trailer using nothing but LEGO’s and a little visual effects know-how.  The almost three minute trailer uses audio from the original trailer and seamlessly is able to recreate not only the look, but feel of the trailer perfectly.  In addition to Batman, the creator has also recreated scenes from Harry Potter and Indiana Jones using nothing but LEGOs.  Check out the trailer below along with the original theatrical version.  After seeing The Avengers poster earlier, we hope he decides to recreate that film’s trailer as well.

Fan Makes Impressive ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Opening Credits

The Dark Knight Rises Mask

Despite the fact that director Christopher Nolan has yet to include opening credits in either Batman Begins or The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises will most likely be sans opening credits as well, Istanbul Communication Design student Doğan Can Gündoğdu has taken it upon himself to create one for the upcoming final film.  Though some would argue the sequence feels more like it should be in front of a David Fincher film rather than one from Nolan, the sequence is impressive none the less.  Take a look at the video and let us know what you think.

The Dark Knight Rises Mask

Two titans will be clashing at the box office next summer and we’re not talking about Wrath of the Titans.  Easily the two most anticipated movies next year are The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises and no doubt both will be highly successful, but who is going to bring in the most money during that most important opening weekend?

In 2008, The Dark Knight dominated the box office opening with a record breaking $158.4 million dollars outing Spider-Man 3 for the title of highest grossing weekend release.  A title it held until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 beat it this summer with a $169 million opening.  Batman had a lot going for it being released toward the …
