A new poster for the latest James Bond movie has been revealed and with it info on the debut of the first trailer.  It was previously announced that a trailer would be attached to the release of Men In Black 3, which is set to hit theaters next Friday, May 25th, but Bond fans will get their first look at Daniel Craig in action when the trailer is released online Monday, May 21st at 8:30AM BST on the official 007 website.  Daniel Craig returns as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time.  In the film, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her.  …

Paramount Pictures has debuted eight new character posters from their upcoming sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation.  The posters debuted throughout the day on various websites.  The posters feature some of the main characters including Snake Eyes, Duke, Jinx, Cobra Commander, Lady Jaye, Storm Shadow, Roadblock and Bruce Willis’ character Joe Coulton, the original “G.I. Joe”.   G.I. Joe: Retaliation stars Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Channing Tatum, Walton Goggins, Ray Park, Byung-hun Lee, Elodie Yung, RZA, Ray Stevenson and D.J. Cotrona.  The film opens June 29th.

Warner Bros. Pictures has released several character photos for their upcoming Tim Burton film Dark Shadows.  The posters feature retro looks at the film’s stars including Johnny Depp, Eva Green, Helena Bonham Carter, Chloe Moretz, Michelle Pfeiffer and Jackie Earle Haley.  Dark Shadows opens in theaters May 11th.

May 4th is just around the corner and Marvel is teasing us with a new poster for their upcoming superhero bonanza, The Avengers.  The new poster shows Robert Downey, Jr’s “Iron Man’ front and center sans helmet with the rest of the crew relegated to the background.  The poster shows New York devastated by an unknown force we got a glimpse of during the Super Bowl spot.  Marvel promises a hint about who exactly “Loki’s Army” will be in the new trailer that is set to debut on iTunes tomorrow at 9AM PT.

The first one-sheet for Tim Burton’s upcoming stop-motion, animated film Frankenweenie has been released.  The film is based off his 1984 live-action short film.  The film opens October 5th, 2012 in theaters and stars the voices of Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau and Johnny Depp…wait, Johnny Depp ISN’T in this one?  Is that even possible?

Lionsgate has released five new character posters from their upcoming comedy, What To Expect When You’re Expecting based on the New York Times bestselling book.  The posters feature stars Brooklyn Decker, Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Lopez, and Anna Kendrick in various stages of expectancy.  The film co-stars Chace Crawford, Matthew Morrison, Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock, Rodrigo Santoro, Ben Falcone and Joe Manganiello and opens May 11th, 2012 just in time for Mother’s Day.

20th Century Fox has released the first official poster for their upcoming sci-fi film Prometheus.  The film began as a prequel to Alien and soon turned into something else entirely, with what we’ve been told will feature DNA of the Alien franchise.  Ridley Scott, who directed the original Alien film, returns to the sci-fi genre with an all-star cast including, Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Ben Foster, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba and Guy Pearce.  Prometheus is set to hit theaters on June 8th, 2012.  Will we be seeing a trailer attached to Fox’s upcoming sci-fi, horror film The Darkest Hour on December 25th?  Sounds like the perfect Christmas gift if you ask me.

First we got a glimpse at a new poster for The Dark Knight Rises and now another big superhero movie hitting theaters next summer has released it’s own one-sheet.  Sony pictures has released a new poster for The Amazing Spider-Man and this time they are going for a much darker tone than previously seen.  The poster features Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker in silhouette hanging from the side of a building with his shadow creating the outline of the symbiote spider from the new Spidey costume.  The color and tone is very reminiscent of the just released The Dark Knight Rises poster, but unlike the new Batman poster which talks about the series ending, the new Spider-Man poster talks about a …

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new poster for next year’s The Dark Knight Rises.  Excitement for the film is heating up with the release of the prologue on select Imax screens on December 16th before Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.  A new trailer has also been rumored to be a possibility with Warner Bros. Pictures’ release of Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows this weekend.

The poster shows a smashed Batman mask with the silhouette of new villain “Bane” walking away in the distance.  The logline “The Legend Ends” hints to the fact that this is reported to be the final film in the Christopher Nolan trilogy and the last Batman film to star Christian Bale in the iconic role.
