Yesterday we gave you our predictions on the movies we thought will get nominated for Best Picture and Best Animated Feature and today we’re focusing our attention on the coveted acting categories. First up, we’re breaking down which actresses from the throng of 2011 movies we think will have their name called come January 24th. Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominations Announced

Nominees for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for outstanding performances in 2011 in five film and eight primetime television categories and for the SAG honors for outstanding action performances by film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center’s SilverScreen Theater in West Hollywood.  The Help lead the list with four nominations including a lead actress nom for Viola Davis, supporting actress noms for Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer and a nomination for Oustanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Other nominees included The Artist, The Descendants, Midnight in Paris and Bridesmaids.  The awards will be handed out on Sunday, January 29th, 2012 with a live broadcast on TNT …
