Daniel Craig is hard at work filming the next installment of the James Bond franchise, Skyfall and Sony Pictures has recently released a new photo and behind the scenes video from the film.  The photo show Craig’s James Bond standing looking very Bond-like in front of his classic DB5.  In addition to the photo, we’re getting a look at the crew filming in Shanghai.

Thanks to photographer Everhardt Strauss, we’re getting our first look at Aaron Eckhart as Frankenstein’s monster in the upcoming film I, Frankenstein.  Eckhart plays “Adam” the monster created by Dr. Frankenstein in Mary Shelley’s classic novel who has survived centuries to find himself in an alternate present where he becomes stuck in the middle of a centuries old war between immortal clans.  The film co-star Bill Nighy and is set to hit theaters February 22nd, 2013.

Despite the secretive nature of director J.J. Abrams, even going so far as installing giant crates to keep out paparazzi, new photos have surfaces from the set of Star Trek 2.  The photos feature Zachary Quinto’s “Spock” donning an Iron Man style “Volcano Suit” to ascend into what is being described as a volcano (convenient, right?).  The film also stars Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg and Benedict Cumberbatch and is set to his theaters May 17th, 2013.  You can check out the photos below along with the previous set photos featuring Cumberbatch and Saldana.

We hit the red carpet of The Avengers world premiere and got a chance to talk to some of the film’s stars including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. It may still be months away before Batman graces movie screens again in The Dark Knight Rises, but we now know one of the bonus features that will be featured when the film makes it’s home video release most likely sometime around the holidays.  Warner Bros. gathered all five of the Batmobiles and drove to Bob’s Big Boy, a restaurant down the street from the studio’s Burbank location.  The appearance was part of the restaurants weekly classic car show.  Take a look at the video below and let us know which Batmobile is your favorite.

Marvel has released several new photos from their upcoming The Avengers.  The batch includes a wide angle version of a photo we previously saw featuring Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow as well as photos of Bruce Banner, Thor, Nick Fury, Hawkeye and a closer look at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters.  The Avengers opens May 4th and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson.

Last week we gave you a first look at set photos from the highly anticipated sequel to Star Trek.  The photos featured what appeared to be a fight between Zachary Quinto’s “Spock” and Benedict Cumberbatch’s seemingly villainous character.  Word is director J.J. Abrams wasn’t happy with the photos as actress Zoe Saldana explained to MTV on the red carpet at this past weekend’s Independent Spirit Awards.  “J.J. was very upset,” she said.  “I have to say that. It’s not going to stop people from intruding, but they are, and it’s such a bummer because it only hurts them by stealing away the surprise.”

With production on the 23rd James Bond film, Skyfall, currently in production, the official 007 site has debuted the first videoblog for the film.  In the video, director Sam Mendes discusses his passion for the franchise and his approach to directing the new film.  There’s not much in far as footage, with just glimpses of stars Daniel Craig and Judi Dench in scenes already sneaked in recently released photos.

While filming reshoots for The Amazing Spider-Man in Los Angeles, Andrew Garfield was spotted on set, literally hanging around.  The new “Peter Parker” was scene hanging atop a light pole while doing some wire work.  Despite doing some very Spider-Man type action, Garfield was scene out of costume wearing plain clothes.  He even took out some time to catch up on some texts.

The Amazing Spider-Man comes to theaters July 3rd, 2012 and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans and Martin Sheen,  The film is directed by Marc Webb, who will be taking over the series from Sam Raimi.

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new featurette of the upcoming The Lucky One based on the novel be Nicholas Sparks.  The film tells the story of Logan Thibault, a Marine who survives three tours in Iraq.  He attributes his good fortune to a photograph he carried of a woman he has never met, and he sets out to meet his good-luck charm when he returns to North Carolina.  The Lucky One hits theaters April 20th, 2012 and stars Zac Efron, Taylor Schilling, Blythe Danner, Adam LeFevre, Sharon Morris, Joe Chrest, Riley Thomas Stewart, Courtney J. Clark and Jillian Batherson.
