The casting announcements just keep on coming! It's been confirmed that Mahershala Ali has been adding to the Mockingjay cast as Boggs. The news was announced via Twitter saying: "It's official! Please welcome Mahershala Ali as Boggs to the cast of @TheHungerGames: Mockingjay Parts 1&2"

In case you didn't know (or need a friendly reminder) Boggs is "first introduced as President Coin's right hand man until Katniss offers to assume the role of the Mockingjay. It then becomes his job to keep her alive." As the story eventually unfolds, we find that Boggs has more of an allegiance towards Katniss than President Coin herself.

You might recognize Mahershala from projects such as The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Place Beyond the Pines, and House of Cards.

If you haven't been keeping track, the newest additions to the Mockingjay Parts I and II cast includes: Natalie Dormer as Cressida, Evan Ross as Messalla, Stef Dawson as Annie, Julianne Moore as President Coin, Lily Rabe as Commander Lyme, and Patina Miller as Commander Paylor.

Mockingjay Part I is set to hit theaters on November 21, 2014, with Mockingjay Part II scheduled for a November 20, 2014 release.

While that's a long time away, Catching Fire is almost here! Enjoy the latest character stills by clicking here.
