Miley Cyrus Reportedly Released from the Hospital After Allergic Reaction
Miley Cyrus fans can rest a little easier tonight — the "We Can't Stop" singer was reportedly released from the hospital after more than a week stint. Phew.
According to E! Online, the 21-year-old is "feeling much better and Europe [tour] is still on." The only thing — well, one of a few things — that isn't for certain is where the star currently is; all that's known about her whereabouts is that she's currently in the US.
This is a serious relief as there was a strong possibility she would have to be kept under hospital care for nearly four full weeks. All of the remaining Bangerz tour dates in the States have been postponed to August after the European leg.
In case you're not totally in the know on the entire situation, here's the official statement: "Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour. She was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalexin, which she's now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to. This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases. She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor's care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time. Miley is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans."
Now the real question is, where in the world is Miley-ey Cyrus? (To the tune of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" natch.) For all things MiCy, make sure to share your thoughts in the comments below, or on our Miley Cyrus message board.
