Miley Cyrus Releases Official Statement About Her Hospital Stint

By  |

Don't believe everything you read about Miley Cyrus' hospital stint (other than what you're about to read on Teen.com, obvi). After canceling one of her Bangerz tour concerts earlier this month due to "excruciating pain," the 21-year-old forcibly had to cancel more in its wake as a new sickness presented itself, and it's way worse.

Some outlets suggest that she's in the hospital due to drugs, but Miley's coming clean on everything. In a series of tweets, she writes, "So many ignorant stories out there. No one is reading the official statement and these dumba**** are scaring my fans." She continues, "Shut the f*** up & let me heal. Stop scaring my family, friends & fans."

For your knowledge, here's the official statement: "Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour. She was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalexin, which she's now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to. This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases. She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor's care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time. Miley is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans."

So there you have it, guys. Make sure to send your well wishes to the "We Can't Stop" singer in the comments below, or on our Miley Cyrus message board.
