Miley Cyrus & Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer” Grammys Duet was ICONIC
The legendary 70-year-old musician opened his 60th Annual Grammy Awards performance in his classic style, sitting at the piano and wearing a bejeweled jacket and sunglasses. After singing a verse of his single, “Tiny Dancer,” solo, Elton introduced his duet partner, the 25-year-old “Malibu” singer, to the stage. Miley was all smiles in a *stunning* fuschia gown as she joined the icon for the rest of the song.
These two were so adorable together, it was almost too much to handle. Miley turned up the Southern twang in her accent for her share of the vocals, which worked perfectly for the whimsical ballad.
In addition to his performance with Miley at the Grammys, the Recording Academy is honoring the 50th anniversary of Elton John’s career with a tribute concert called “I’m Still Standing: A Grammy Salute” on Tuesday. Miley will also be performing at that show, in addition to Kesha, Miranda Lambert, John Legend, and others.
Elton recently announced that he’s retiring from music, confirming that his upcoming world tour will be his last. Hopefully, this stunning performance will inspire Elton to collab on at least ONE single with Miley before he retires for good, because they are clearly a match made in music heaven.
