Miley Cyrus Admits to Having Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
These young pop stars don't have it easy. A little over a month after Selena Gomez reportedly canceled the last dates on her world tour so she could get a handle on her lupus disease, Miley Cyrus is coming clean about a sickness she's suffering from herself.
While it's long been said that the 21-year-old singer's struggled with tachycardia — a heart rate that exceeds the normal range — most of her life, now she says that's not the only difficulty she's had to face. In an interview with E! News (via International Business Times), she admits to having attention deficit disorder, which includes symptoms such as poor concentration, hyperactivity and impulsivity: "It's funny, because I have ADD, obviously, and I get really bored otherwise. So I've made so many extra costumes and extra set lists so I don't have to do the same thing every day. Otherwise I'm going to hate touring."
On the plus side, the "We Can't Stop" crooner's also made some progress in the health department. She recently tweeted, "2 months no cigs #proudofmyself." An entire 60 days without smoking cigarettes? We'll take it!
What do you think of MiCy's admission? Do you think should slow down because of her tachycardia, along with her other difficulties? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below, or on our Miley Cyrus message board.
