Isn’t Mila Kunis’ Oscar Makeup Perfect for Prom, Too? Here’s How to Get It!
Mila Kunis looked magnificent at the Oscars in her lovely lavender Elie Saab gown, but after drooling over her dress all day long, we couldn’t help but notice that her subtle smoky eye was equally fabulous.
The contrast of the soft purple gown and the dark gray eye is a perfect combo if you’re trying out a pale color on your version of Oscar night — prom.
Here’s all the deets on how to get the look:
First, make sure your skin is moisturized, then Tracey Levy, Mila’s makeup artist, recommends Lacôme’s Teint Miracle Lit-from-Within Foundation for a dewy finish. She also skipped the powder and dusted on a sheer red blush on the apples, shading it upwards along her cheekbones.
Now the hard part: Line the upper lids and inside the lower lid with a soft black eyeliner pencil like Lancôme’s Le Crayon Khôl EyeLiner. Then add a light color all over the lids. Next, apply a shimmery dark purple shadow along the lash line, blending into the eyeliner and then through around the crease. Hold your fluffy eye brush at the very tip so that you have a light application. Tracey used Lancôme’s Color Design 5 Pan Palette in Coral Crush so you can get those exact shades. Finish off the eyes with black mascara (and don’t forget those lower lashes!).
To finish off the look, use a mix of colors like Tracey did with Lancôme’s Color Fever Gloss in Blazing Pink and La Laque Fever Lipshine in Lucent Nude.
