Midnight Red Disses One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer on Twitter
Boy bands, past and present, are duking it out like nobody's business. Last week, the long-held Backstreet Boys vs. *NSYNC feud continued to rage on as Joey Fatone stated, "I feel like [the Backstreet Boys] just need the money. No offense, guys. But I'm saying if you think about it, it's like, why are you coming back out again?"
Nick Carter on Team BSB retaliated on Twitter, "Just disappointed, I really liked joey… I'm proud of who we are and love what we stand for. Truthfully, it's about not letting our fans down. Sorry bro, but you have us all wrong."
ANYWAY — we apologize for the digression, but it was too juicy not to mention — now the boy bands of today are in a war against each other. We all know what went down between One Direction and The Wanted (which, we can probably all agree that 1D won considering TW's barely still around), but that latest haterade against the British-Irish fivesome comes from the USA. Check out what American group Midnight Red had to say on Twitter:
We all know that One Direction got its start on the UK edition of The X Factor, and word has it that Midnight Red was originally supposed to open for the lads before being replaced by Australia's 5 Seconds of Summer. Think the MR guys are in the bitter barn over the switch? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below, or on our One Direction message board.
