The Must-See First Acting Jobs of the Maze Runner Cast
It’s Throwback Thursday, a good time to reflect on fun (and possibly awkward and embarrassing) moments past, wouldn’t you say? So with The Maze Runner hitting theaters in just a few days — September 19, where you at?? — we thought this would be the perfect time to take a look back on the olden days of the James Dashner book-turned-movie’s stars.
Dylan O’Brien — Since he’s already made you LOL plenty of times as Stiles on Teen Wolf, let’s take a look at his first film role: alongside comedians Ed Helms and Rob Riggle, Dylan starred in a drug-bust comedy aptly-named High Road. Poor baby even sports a broken arm in it.
Kaya Scodelario — A couple years after Skins premiered, Kaya was featured in her first film, Moon. Here’s a clip that may bring a tear to your eye:
Will Poulter — OMG, the first few seconds alone tells us everything we need to know about Will’s first flick, Son of Rambow.
Thomas Brodie-Sangster — One year prior to the release of Love Actually — yes, TBS was the little boy in the star-studded movie! — he starred on a TV series named Stig of the Dump. Cutie!
Blake Cooper — Since he played an uncredited speech student in Parental Guidance, starring Bailee Madison, let’s go with his second movie, Prosper. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look:
Ki Hong Lee — Sadly, KHL’s first gigs are pretty much untraceable on the Internet. No clips from his stints on Victorious, The Secret Life of the American Teenager OR Modern Family exist. How’s that possible?! Sigh, oh well. At least we had him for the entirety of The Nine Lives of Chloe King.
