One of Your Nickelodeon Faves Has Been Married for Months & You Had No Idea!
Whoa, wait… how did everyone miss this?? One of your favorite Nickelodeon stars got married SIX MONTHS AGO and you had zero idea. Heck, no one even knew the guy was engaged! And you wanna know who that guy is? Drum roll, please…
It’s Max Schneider (a.k.a. MAX)! The 24-year-old How to Rock alum announced that he got hitched to his longtime girlfriend, Emily, all the way back in April of this year, via the cutest Instagram video ever:
“I wrote “Lights Down Low” when Emily and I first started dating,” his caption began. “I had never invested so much of my heart into a song before. I knew it was special and the feelings encapsulated within it would live with us for the rest of our lives.”
“I knew she was my soulmate and the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with,” he continued his praise. “I planned the proposal for months and ended up surprising her with the help of our mutual best friend, Katie, who introduced us. I proposed to Emily in the same place we had our first date, with a harp player playing along while I sang “Lights Down Low.” We got married in April.”
“Life has a funny way of bringing the most special people into your life when you least expect it,” he said sweetly. “It’s up to you to call them after your first date and ask the crazy question of if they would want to fly half way across the country to have a second date while on tour. I’m so glad you took that leap of faith with me from that first weekend my love. The urge.”
Congrats to the happy couple!
Unlike Max & his love, these celebrity couples met on the set of a Nickelodeon show:
Ryan Rottman & Victoria Justice
This romance was one for the books and fans were SO bummed when it ended. Back in 2011, Ryan appeared on Victoria’s hit show Victorious for one episode. He played Ryder on "Beggin' on Your Knees," and the rest is history. The pair began dating that same year and they were inseparable. Eventually they began traveling for work and spending more time apart, which led to their breakup. Ryan was filming The Lying Game and then Happyland while Victoria was busy with her Nick show and then eventually her short-lived MTV series, Eye Candy. The couple officially called it quits in 2013 and they are both dating other people now.
