7 Male Celebrities Who Denied Being Gay Before Coming Out
Being a celebrity may be #goals to many people, but it’s actually quite challenging. Besides the constant attention, pesky paparazzi and crazed fans, one of the worst parts of being famous is having to deal with the countless rumors that come every single day. From secret pregnancies to drug addictions, stars have basically dealt with ’em all. Another major story that often circulates? A person’s sexuality.
Even though many of your favorite stars have come out in the past year, some straight celebs are forced to constantly deny that they are gay. But just because someone denies being homosexual doesn’t necessarily mean they’re actually heterosexual. Case in point — the following gay men who previously shot down rumors that they like guys.
In one of his most recent videos, this YouTube star revealed that his family asked him if he was gay when he was in eighth grade, and he vehemently said, "Noooo!"
And even though Joey's relatives tried to make him comfortable by telling him it was okay if he was homosexual, the then-youngster simply replied, "I'm not; I like girls!"
It took the 25-year-old many, many years to finally embrace his sexuality, and he came out as gay in May 2015.
