Louis Tomlinson Releases New Single “Miss You” and It’s Pretty Amazing
Louis Tomlinson has dropped yet ANOTHER new song on us all and this one is a banger, people. But honestly, were you expecting anything less than another hit??
Ever since the beginning of his solo career, the “Back to You” singer has been releasing hit after hit and his latest single, “Miss You,” is no different. This is the 25-year-old’s FOURTH single after his One Direction days and, if anyone is keeping track, his second solo song without any features on the track.
“Miss You” was written with longtime 1D collaborator Julian Bunetta (a.k.a. the mastermind behind some of One Direction’s biggest hits). According to Billboard, Louis revealed that his past partying ways were the inspiration behind this song.
“I wrote this song about a time in my life when I was going out partying every night. In hindsight, throughout that time I was pretty numb and just going through the motions,” he explained. “Deep down, it was always in the back of my mind that what I really missed was the girl that I loved. It’s important to me to write something really honest.”
If our memories are correct, this song was definitely written with his girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, in mind. And something tells us that the model is loving the fact that her boyfriend missed her all this time.
Anyway, enough with all the mushy-gushy stuff. Aside from releasing another amazing single, Louis fans can expect to see their fave take center stage this weekend on the UK’s X Factor finale. The singer, who is making his grand return to the show a little over a year after his first solo performance, is expected to perform his new song, “Miss You.”

Louis isn’t the only famous face performing for the judges and loyal X Factor audience. The boy band Pretty Much will also make an appearance on the show as well.
