Logan Paul Admits to Shane Dawson: “I Have Sociopathic Tendencies”

By  |

If you’re anything like us, you’ve probably been not-so-patiently waiting for each new installment of Shane Dawson‘s “The Mind of Jake Paul” series to hit YouTube. Well, if you’ve watched the most recent, third installment, which hit the web just yesterday, you know that Shane touched on some pretty interesting subjects, specifically relating to Jake’s family, and yes, his brother Logan Paul.

As we all know, earlier this year Logan came under fire for displaying footage of a man who committed suicide in a forest in Japan. To any sane person, exploiting a suicide victim is simply unacceptable. However, when Logan uploaded the video, it seemed like he didn’t even think twice. Inevitably, his behavior received a ton of backlash, which is when Logan first started to realize that what he did was wrong in so many ways.

While Logan’s behavior certainly can not be excused, Shane offered another possible explanation for why he may have done what he did by revealing some DM’s that were sent to him by Logan directly. Trust us… they’re RIVETING.

After Shane asked Logan via DM if he thought he was a sociopath, Logan responded with, “I’m on the sociopathic spectrum. I wouldn’t say I’m a sociopath, but I would absolutely say I have sociopathic tendencies, and at the beginning of the year I was at a place in my life where they got the best of me and they consumed me, which is when it gets dangerous.” WOW. To watch Shane reveal the DM’s for yourself, head over to the 5-minute mark!

Logan then went on to say that his brother Jake “also has tendencies, as we all do.” Uhh… we all DON’T, but that’s beside the point. Logan also said that Jake is “nice and empathetic as f*ck. And at random times, and off-camera, he’s so nice for no reason, like feeding the homeless. This is a trait that he has that I’ve always envied.”

Understandably, everything Logan said about Jake made Shane wonder whether or not Logan was capable of feeling empathy at all, to which he responded by saying, “Of course I feel empathy. The level at which I feel it differs for each topic or subject, though.” NGL, we are totally fascinated by this, but TBH, it doesn’t seem like Jake agrees.

Wow, y’all. At this point, we’re not even halfway through the series, and in case it wasn’t obvious, things are getting GOOD. We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to see what Shane discovers about the Paul brothers, and specifically Jake, throughout the rest of the series. Guess we’re just going to have to keep our eyes glued to YouTube until the next installment drops!
