Lili Reinhart Fires Back After Being Linked to Multiple Riverdale Guys
Lili Reinhart is sick of people speculating about her love life. We all know that she’s been linked to co-star Cole Sprouse for a couple months now, but recently fans started rumors that she’s actually dating a different Riverdale guy, KJ Apa. The 21-year-old usually brushes off the stories, but she simply couldn’t handle people’s chatter any longer and went the eff OFF.
“It’s horrifying how invested some people are in my love life. Emphasis on ‘my,'” she wrote on Tumblr yesterday. “It is mine. It is private. If a stranger’s love life is causing you anger, frustration or anxiety… please reevaluate your priorities. I also want to point out that there is a difference between shipping Betty and other characters, and shipping me with literally everyone I make eye contact with. There are so many other things to focus your attention and energy on.”
The rumors about Cole and Lili’s relationship started in late July after they were apparently seen “canoodling, holding hands and kissing” at Entertainment Weekly‘s San Diego Comic-Con Bash. The speculation continued when they went on a movie date a few days later.
The blonde has yet to officially confirm or deny her potential romance with the 25-year-old, but she DID admit that she found him “really attractive” when she met him for the first time.
She told W Magazine, “It’s funny, I don’t really remember having an opinion on Cole, to be honest… Of course, I had grown up watching The Suite Life, but I wasn’t really starstruck. He just seemed like this really attractive, normal guy.”
Lili has a valid point — she deserves to have a private life, too, and while it’s fun to ship her and our fave Riverdale guys, we have to remember how she must feel when her love life is on display at all times.

Before she was our Betty Cooper, Lili played Courtney Lane on the Law & Order: SVU episode "Lost Traveler." When a Romani child goes missing, the detectives try to infiltrate the tight-knit Romani community. The boy is discovered dead, and Courtney admitted to bullying and eventually killing him. Lili was only 15 when the episode aired and it was obvious that she was a superstar in the making.
