Lea Michele’s “You’re Mine” Song for Cory Monteith Will Leave You Bawling

After weeks of releasing tracks off her new album, Lea Michele has finally dropped the one we’ve all been waiting for (slash partially been dreading). While all of her other songs, including “Cannonball” and “Battlefield,” are all sorts of beautiful, “You’re Mine” will leave you weeping buckets of tears.

During her interview with Teen Vogue, the 27-year-old singer/actress revealed, “My favorite song is, 100 percent, “You’re Mine.” I listened to it the other day— it was the one song I had the most emotional reaction to, just because that’s my relationship with Cory [Monteith].”

Moments ago, she reiterated her sentiments on Twitter, “My next IG track #YOUREMINE is my favorite song on #LOUDER. It’s so special to me & it’s story is so close to my heart.”

With lyrics like, And I told you all my dreams and fears // And you looked at me and your eyes filled with tears // And you said those three words I’ve been waiting for //You became a part of me, you’ll feel the love of Monchele in your bones. Lea’s Louder album will be available on March 4. Until then, get your first listen of “You’re Mine,” dedicated to Cory Monteith, here:
