The Story Behind Lara Jean’s Lock-Screen Pic, in Noah Centineo’s Words
At this point, we all know the story behind Laura Jean Covey’s adorable lock-screen picture in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. You know the one — actors Lana Condor and Noah Centineo fell asleep together between takes of the movie, a crew member caught ’em and snapped a photo and director Susan Johnson decided to make the most of it and put the image in the movie. SWOON!
So, how exactly did the TATBILB co-stars fall asleep in such a cozy position? According to Noah, it was quite easy!
In fact, the 22-year-old actor says it was “not uncommon” for the entire To All the Boys cast to nap with together in ~compromising positions~ on set.
“Israel [Broussard] and I cuddled together; it’s not uncommon,” he adds.
The Fosters alum says he was actually the one who fell asleep first and Lana came over to join him in hopes of getting some much-needed shuteye, too.
“I was just laying there because I sleep a lot. If I’ve got five minutes, I’m out. And I think one of those times, Lana was just like, ‘I’m going to sleep with you!’ And I was like, ‘Alright cool,’ and she cuddled in.”
Noah admits he doesn’t remember anyone snapping a pic, so he must’ve been in a pretty deep sleep with the actress by his side. Honestly, could they get any more adorable together??? We think not.
