Lady Gaga Set to Sing in Outer Space in 2015

By  |

Lady Gaga pretty much acts like she's from out of this world — have you seen her wardrobe? — but she actually IS headed to outer space! According to US Weekly, the "Applause" singer will be the first artist to EVER perform in space. That's right, in early 2015, Mother Monster will "blast off in a Virgin Galactic ship and belt out a single track during the Zero G Colony high-tech musical festival in New Mexico."

Since outer space is vastly different than Earth, Gaga will have to go through vocal training for about a month thanks to the difference in atmosphere. The reported performance will occur during Zero G Colony — a  festival that will combine music and "cutting-edge technology" —  in New Mexico some time in early 2015.

Also, Gaga's out of this world performance will supposedly take place on "the third day at dawn," which is about six months after the first Virgin Galactic commercial flight.
