Kylie Jenner is on Her Way to Becoming the Youngest Self-Made Billionaire Ever

As you’re sitting in your room, wondering if you can afford that $5 Starbucks iced latte, Kylie Jenner is on her way to becoming the youngest self-made billionaire ever. At just 20 years old, KJ is already worth $900 million dollars, according to a new report from Forbes.

So, how did the youngest of the KarJenner clan create an almost-billion-dollar fortune in just three short years? Oh, just a little company called Kylie Cosmetics. The brand, which KJ owns 100% of, went from simply selling Lip Kits for $29 to having a variety of all different beauty products. The 20-year-old has sold $630 million worth of makeup since the original liquid lipsticks launched, including an estimated $330 million in 2017. Overall, Forbes values the company at about $800 million. Add in the brunette’s sponsorships, appearances, etc., and you have someone who will probably see a billion-dollar net worth by her 22nd birthday.

To put this in perspective, older sister Kim Kardashian, who owns KKW Beauty and was once the ultimate entrepreneur of the family, is only worth an estimated $350 million. But there’s no hard feelings among the siblings — the 37-year-old even tweeted her congrats to her younger sis.

Kylie added her own message of appreciation, tweeting, “Thank you @Forbes for this article and the recognition. I’m so blessed to do what i love everyday. #KylieCosmetics”

Ky currently sits in fourth on the list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women, but it’s pretty obvious that she’ll take over the top spot shortly down the road.
