Kylie Jenner Claims She Started a Trend That’s Been Around for 1000s of Years
Kylie Jenner’s actions have gotten her into trouble more times than we can count, and peoples’ outraged responses are usually usually pretty effing valid. But while the 18 year old has done some pretty effing stupid things in the past, perhaps nothing quite compares to what she just said in the 2016 May Fresh Faces issues of Marie Claire magazine.
According to the 18-year-old social media star, she is the reason that people are wearing wigs.
“I started wigs, and now everyone is wearing wigs. Kim [Kardashian] just used my wig guy last night… I just do whatever I want to do, and people will follow.”
Uhh…let’s back up here for a second. People have been wearing wigs for literally thousands of years — Ancient Egyptians wore ’em to protect their bald heads from the sun, royals wore ’em in the 16th and 17th centuries compensate for hair loss, 18th century higherups powdered theirs, and the list goes on and on. Sooo, for Kylie to say that she “started wigs” is almost as bad as Demi Lovato claiming that she invented feminism.
Kylie Jenner said that she started the wig trend? My grandma was wearing wigs long before you were born, Kylie.

Let’s hope Ky was only referring to started the wig-wearing trend in her family and not the world, because if so, we seriously CANNOT.
Many people think Kylie was trolling the world with that wig quote, because NO ONE could be that silly. If that’s the case, it wouldn’t be the first time KJ tricked the public — here are 10 stars who got fake tattoos that people thought were real:
