Kristen Stewart’s Snow White and the Huntsman Fashion Frenzy
As the release of Snow White and the Huntsman fast approaches, star Kristen Stewart has been on a whirlwind press tour across the globe. She’s been fielding questions, signing autographs, clinking glasses at expensive dinners. But let’s be honest, we only care about one thing — what she’s been wearing! Take a look at her couture and casual SWATH style…
Luxe in London
Kristen hit her first SWATH red carpet in this lacy Marchesa gown at the London premiere. But, in true KStew style, she confessed that she wore her beloved Converse in the car and quickly slipped on her sky high Loubs just in time for photos. While I love that she’s finally embracing her inner fashionista, I can’t quite fall in love with this gown — the faux-cut outs seem to scream “ice dancer” instead of “A-lister.” Do you agree?
Edgy in England
Even though she partied all night following the London premiere, Kris looked fresh and fab en route to an interview with the BBC, swapping her previous night’s glamour for a look we’re much more familiar with: rocker tee and jeans! Do you like her high-waisted skinnies? And would you twist your tee into a knot like she’s been doing?
Trendy for TV
For an appearance on the Graham Norton show, KS trotted out two trends — sheer and neon — and rocked them both! Her Jason Wu Spring 2012 ensemble featured a high-waisted asymmetrical yellow skirt and mesh long sleeved shirt with elbow cutouts, accented with an Anita Ko spiked bracelet and black leather oxfords by Bloch. Would you rather have seen her slip on some stilettos?
Bold in Berlin
Minis might be all the rage, but Kristen bucks the trend and ops for a subtle yet sexy red and black dress from the 10 Crosby by Derek Lam line pair with her favorite footwear, Christian Louboutin’s “Pigalle” heels. Does this look catch your eye more than her Marchesa confection?
Short and Sweet in Spain
With legs like hers, why not show them off? Kristen’s dress is straight from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by BCBGMAXAZRIA (again with her Pigalle pumps), but the original gown was longer and featured a boho belt. Kudos to her (and her styling team) for upping the hem — and the wow factor!
Which of Kristen’s SWATH fashions was the best? Are you going to see Snow White and the Huntsman in theaters on June 1?
