Kim Kardashian Deletes Appetite Suppressant Instagram Ad After Backlash
Kim Kardashian is getting some flack on social media yet again — this time for promoting an appetite suppressant lollipop.

As you can see, Kim posted a picture of her sucking on said appetite suppressing lollipop along with the caption, “#ad You guys…@flattummyco just dropped a new product. They’re appetite suppressant lollipops and they’re literally unreal.” Kim went on to further promote the lollipops by telling fans that the first 500 people to buy them would get 15% off.
The negative replies were fierce and immediate, with one user writing, “This is disgusting. Your fans are going to be seeing this and thinking that this is how to get your body. Eating is good for you, stop convincing people to literally starve themselves of food to get a flat tummy.”
The outrage then made its way to Twitter, with Dr. Liam Hackett commenting, “Eating disorders are a very real issue for a lot of young people and to see Kim Kardashian actively encouraging her fans to develop an unhealthy relationship with food is terrifying and gravely concerning.”

Jameela Jamil from The Good Place also chimed in, tweeting, “No. F**k off. No. You terrible and toxic influence on young girls. I admire their mother’s branding capabilities, she is an exploitative but innovative genius, however this family makes me feel actual despair over what women are reduced to.”
With the storm of negativity, Kim deleted the photo from her page after only a few hours. However, the last we checked, the promotion still appears on her Instagram story. Of course, yhe biggest criticism here is that Kim is already one of the richest women in Hollywood, so is promoting an appetite suppressant really an opportunity she needed to take?
