If Kendall and Kylie Jenner Get Out of This Mess, It’ll Be a Freakin’ Miracle

It seems that history is repeating itself, and not in a good way. Almost a year ago to the day, Kylie Jenner was sued for a minor car accident she was in the previous summer. And now, in an unfortunate turn of event, both Kylie and her older sister Kendall Jenner are facing another lawsuit, but this time, it actually seems pretty legit.

According to Page Six, the Jenner sisters and their clothing-line retailer PacSun are being sued by Island Company over trademark infringement. The Florida-based brand claims Kendall & Kylie’s line featured a t-shirt that had its trademarked slogan printed on it. Island Company’s slogan reads, “Quit your job. Buy a ticket. Get a tan. Fall in love. Never return.,” and has been in use since 2005. The Jenners’ graphic tee similarly says, “Run away. Fall in love. Never return.” Yikes…

Although the phrases are technically different, the lawsuit states that PacSun’s use of the words “is likely to cause confusion, mistake and deception among consumers, the public and the trade as to whether defendants’ products or services are affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by plaintiff.” Basically, Island Company doesn’t want people to think they have any involvement with the Jenners’ brand.

Neither Kendall nor Kylie have publicly spoken out about the suit, but the older sister actually tweeted a promotional note about their new holiday items yesterday. We’ll keep you posted as this story develops!
