Kendall & Kylie Jenner are Skipping Out on Brody Jenner’s Wedding

By  |

Well, the wedding will go on with or without Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Brody Jenner is getting ready to tie the knot with Kaitlynn Carter and word on the street is his two little sisters aren’t attending the destination wedding.

BUT don’t get it twisted. There’s no bad blood or anything because according to The Hills alum and his mom, actress Linda Thompson, Kenny and Ky were definitely sent invites to the party. The 34-year-old opened up about his pending nuptials to People and expressed how sad he is that his two little sisters won’t be in attendance.

“My two little sisters, we never even heard from them,” Brody revealed. “They never even RSVP’d I don’t think. We sent them an invite but we just never heard anything back. Well, they’ll be missed. I would have loved to have had them there.” How disappointing!

While neither Kendall or Kylie turned in their RSVP cards, a source close to the two confirmed with Us Weekly that the timing of their big brother’s wedding just didn’t work out for the girls.

“It wasn’t in the cards for Kendall and Kylie to come as Kylie is a new mom and this is a more intimate affair [and it’s a] big ordeal to fly all the way to Bali for the celebration,” the insider told the outlet. We mean, that totally makes sense. After all, Stormi is only 3 months old and who wants to bring a baby on a 20-hour flight?

As for Kenny, it seems as though her packed modeling schedule just won’t allow her the time to celebrate with Brody on the day of the wedding. Never fear, however, the two sisters should get the chance to toast him eventually, as the same US Weekly source says that the couple are planning on having a second wedding celebration in Los Angeles — and, hopefully, Kendall and Kylie will at least RSVP to that one!

But, the two youngest members of the Jenner fam aren’t the only members to pass up on the destination wedding. It is also reported that Caitlyn Jenner isn’t able to make it to the nuptials, as she has prior work commitments that simply can’t be altered. US Weekly‘s source says that that scheduling conflicts aside, everything is good between Caitlyn and Brody and that she will be throwing him a big party once the newlyweds return.

Seems like even though the extended Jenner family can’t be all together on the big day, there is still much celebration to come.
