Kendall Jenner Hospitalized Before Attending Vanity Fair Oscar Party
Kendall Jenner joined some of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood for Vanity Fair‘s annual Oscar Party, which was held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California, immediately after the 90th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday evening. But even though the world saw the 22-year-old looking absolutely stunning in a black Redemption mini dress, it turns out she almost didn’t make it there.
According to The Blast, the supermodel had a bad reaction to a vitamin IV drop, which she was using to help get her ready for the crazy evening, and was hospitalized as a result. Kendall was treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and fortunately got released shortly after so she could make the exclusive event.
“She was working hard and took a vitamin drip over the weekend and had a bad reaction,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “Kendall checked herself into Cedars and quickly bounced back. Kendall works so much and was exhausted so she got a vitamin drip as she often does. Things didn’t go as planned but she was able to pull it together and look incredible at the Oscars after-parties.”
A person who was at the party said, “I would have never been able to tell that she was hospitalized prior. She appeared to be having a great time with model pal Joan Smalls; laughing and mingling with party-goers.”
Caitlyn Jenner was also at the Vanity Fair party, but Kendall was reportedly “oddly reluctant” to take pictures with the 68-year-old. Cait eventually “sidled up to her daughter, whispering into her ear,” according to VF.
We’re so glad Kendall is okay — she must’ve been so freaked out!
