Kelly Rowland Supports Demi Lovato by Getting Matching Lion Tattoo

By  |

Yes, Kelly Rowland got a tattoo in honor of friend Demi Lovato in the wake of her alleged drug overdose. No, it won’t be on her body forever. Let us explain…

The 37-year-old musician attended 29Rooms in Chicago, Illinois, which has a temporary tattoo parlor called the Power Parlor, a space that was actually created in collaboration with the “Sober” singer.

“We all have our own form of battle scars, a reminder of what we’ve overcome,” the event’s website reads. “Inspired by Demi’s own tattoos that celebrate her resilience, step into this temporary tattoo and turn your personal journey into art. Adorn yourself with a message of courage and self-confidence, and let your ink empower you to move forward in the face of any challenge.”

When Kelly entered the parlor, she obviously had the 25-year-old on her mind and decided to get a temporary lion design on her hand, which matches one of D.Lo’s (real) tats.

In addition to showing off the artwork on her body while she was getting it done, the former Destiny’s Child member also posted a picture of the paper drawing, tagged Demi in it and wrote, “I <3 U."

KR’s tribute to DL was definitely unique, but she’s not the only celebrity who reached out in the wake of the terrifying overdose. Stars like Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, the Jonas Brothers and Justin Timberlake all took to social media to send their love and prayers to the brunette beauty following her hospitalization. #FRIENDSHIP
