OMG, One of Your Maze Runner Favorites is Officially a Parent!
Ahh, there’s now a baby in the Maze Runner family!
While production for the franchise’s third and final film, The Death Cure, is on hold until February 2017 — the movie currently has a 2018 release date after Dylan O’Brien‘s on-set accident in March — there’s still some great news in the realm of James Dashner‘s book series-turned-flick franchise: Kaya Scodelario is officially a parent!
That’s right, the 24-year-old actress, who plays TMR‘s leading lady, Teresa, is now a mom, after giving birth to her first child with husband Benjamin Walker. She shared the news on Instagram, saying, “Welcome to the world little man. We couldn’t be happier or more in love with you & Arnie’s loving his new cuddle buddy.” (FYI, Arnie is the name of the couple’s French Bulldog.)
The two, who are nearly 10 years apart in age, first got together in October 2014, and got engaged soon after — 2 months later, to be more precise — in December. Shortly over a year later, the pair got married in January 2016. They announced the pregnancy 5 months later, in June. Considering the bebe’s recent birthdate, Kaya & Ben clearly wasted no time getting that bun in the oven. Congrats, you two!

"Plunger. It's just so easy! A toothbrush would be crazy, too, because they wouldn't see it coming. You could be like, 'Oh, here's my plunger — AHH toothbrush!!'"
