Celebrities Choose Sides in the Reignited Taylor Swift-Kanye West Feud

By  |

Just when you thought the now-infamous feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift was over for good, the 38-year-old rapper lit another huge fire. While playing his new album during the Yeezy Season 3 presentation in NYC yesterday, fans noticed a shocking lyric from the song “Famous.” It said: “I feel like me and Taylor might have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.” Um…WHA THA–?!

Taylor’s brother quickly made his opinion on the issue known by posting a video of him doing some “spring cleaning” of a certain pair of sneakers.

Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again.

A video posted by Austin Swift (@austinkingsleyswift) on

NO ONE messes with Austin Swift’s brother! But wait just a second… although the entire T.Swift fandom is literally in uproar right now, Kanye has his own side to the story and says he “never dissed” Tay and she actually “thought [the line] was funny and gave her blessings.”

BUT WAIT JUST A SECOND! Tay’s publicist also said HER piece on the subject, and basically called ‘Ye a big fat liar!

“Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single “Famous” on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.'”

Are you still with us? Good; ’cause we’re not done yet. In addition to Austin defending his older sister, some of Taylor’s famous squad have stepped forward to show whose side they’re actually on. Gigi Hadid, who attended the fashion show, took to Twitter to prove her “loyalty.”

Calvin Harris also supported his girlfriend by ‘liking’ Austin’s video:

And so did Martha Hunt:

Annnnd so did Selena Gomez!

Ruby Rose and Jaime King, whose son is Taylor’s godchild, expressed their disappointment over the reignited feud, too.

But in a shocking turn of events, Ms. Swift’s longtime bestie Karlie Kloss made people worried that she might have allegiance elsewhere, as she posted a picture of herself wearing Yeezy sneakers with the caption, “On to the next one but don’t want to take my Yeezys off #NYFW.” The model then edited the photo to simply read, “On to the next one #NYFW,” but the photo remained on her page — until now. The 23 year old has since completely deleted the picture from her Instagram.

So, whose side are you on??

Taylor Swift can’t let this situation affect her TOO much, as she has a big weekend ahead:
